Dr Elizabeth Ogunshola (fondly called ‘Teacher Lizzie’ by the Brainy Hive Community) is a seasoned educator, curriculum developer, consultant and researcher. She earned a Bachelor of Education in Educational Foundations from the Tai Solarin University of Education with her M.Ed and PhD in Early Childhood Education from the University of Uyo in Nigeria.

Through her research work, she has been able to design Instructional and Behavioral modifications that help in educating children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD. Her works and papers have been published in several journals of high repute.

She is an Education Entrepreneur who has founded arguably one of Nigeria’s most innovative Early Learning Centres – Brainy Hive Schools which now operates a full blown preschool and grade school in Uyo. She is also vastly experienced in Curriculum Design and Combination having worked with curriculum experts to creatively combine multiple international curricula for use to provide a more balanced and global education.

She equally consults and trains in school setup, book selection and teacher optimization for primary schools. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children in the USA.

Elizabeth is a mentor and coach with keen interest in teenagers, girls and young women. She does this mostly through her female-only peer mentoring platform Broken Jars Network. She is married and has 3 wonderful kids.
